Pacific Electric Railway 1947-49

When I was in High School in 1947-48 I was a Pacific Electric [PE] "Railfan" and took many photos, collected timetables, etc. After 50+ years I recently went through an old shoebox full of negatives, slides, and prints. I scanned the PE photos and have posted most on this site and hope that viewers may find them of historical interest.  All my notations are based on personal recollection from when the pictures were taken, except as noted.  Any corrections or comments would be appreciated. 

This photo shows "Hollywood" cars at the West Hollywood Yard.  The Hollywood Hills are in the background.
