Pacific Electric Railway 1947-49
Taken at El Molino Junction which was just
east of Huntington Drive and Granada in San
Marino. The four track right of way stopped
here and it was double track from here to
Monrovia/ Duarte. One could transfer at San
Marino or remain on the evening cars to
Sierra Madre. This line was on double track
to Colorado Street and then single track to
Sierra Madre. The bit of curved track in the
lower left corner of the picture is the
start of the Oak Knoll route to the
Huntington Hotel and Pasadena via Lake
Avenue.
