Pacific Electric Railway 1947-49

Cars from the Beverly Hills Station ran to the Subway Terminal in downtown Los Angeles via Hollywood Blvd or Santa Monica Blvd.

I did not have a car when I was in high school in West Los Angeles. We would ride the PE to Hollywood on Friday and Saturday nights to see movies or just "hang out", as they say today.
