Pacific Electric Railway 1947-49

I didn't know where this photo was taken, but viewer Fred Gurzeler e-mailed that he believes it is on the Venice Line Trolleyway near the Ocean Park Yard. Now that I look at it, Fred's conclusion seems correct.

Many P.E. cars and buses that did not have leather or wicker seating surfaces had green mohair upholstery with a black wavy line pattern, such as that on the lower left on the motorman's stool.
